Focus needed to secure U.S. ports The article "$250M effort to secure ports lags" was disturbing (News, April 15). After 9/11, there were reports about the risk of terrorists smuggling nuclear or biological weapons in one of millions of containers that enter the U.S. each year, including more than 100,000 via the port of Mobile, Ala., in my home state.
