About Metro I.L.A. Funds

Welcome to the home of the Metro-ILA Funds, which consist of:

  • The Metro-ILA Fringe Benefit Fund
  • The Metro-ILA Pension Fund, and
  • The Metro-ILA Individual Account Retirement Fund

About Us. The Metro-ILA Funds were established to administer benefits on behalf of Active and Retired workers covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreements between the Metropolitan Marine Maintenance Contractors’ Association, Inc. (“MMMCA”) and Union Locals 1804-1 (in New Jersey) and 1814 (in Brooklyn/Staten Island) of the International Longshoremen’s Association. 

Our sole purpose is to serve all eligible Metro-ILA plan participants and their dependents by facilitating access to the wide menu of benefits that are afforded them. These benefits include: comprehensive Welfare Benefits, Fringe Benefits, and two types of retirement plans (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution benefits). 

The Trustees, Management, and Staff of the Funds hope that this website will be a valuable extension of the services we already provide our participants.
